I often mix half of this vegetable jar with homemade carrot puree and our own beef to create a nutritious lunch. The other half is used the next day with different vegetables and meat to make a new meal. This approach worked wonderfully for our older child who now eats everything at three years old. This puree isn’t as sweet as others, which often contain too many carrots, yet it’s highly favored in our home.

It’s great to find something without carrots since they can cause constipation. Unfortunately, carrots are in almost everything, but Holle offers good alternatives.
