Hi Laura, thank you for your message. We currently offer two children’s milks: HiPP Kindermilch Bio from 12 months and HiPP Kindermilch Combiotik from 1 year. Both HiPP children’s milks are specially tailored to the nutritional needs of small children. The protein content is reduced to suit children, and they also contain important vitamins and minerals such as valuable iron for the growth phase.
What is the difference between the two children’s milks?
Kindermilch Bio from the age of 12 months falls under the guidelines for follow-on milk in terms of its composition. With this children’s milk, great importance is attached to ensuring that the formula is as natural as possible. Only additions that are prescribed by law are made.
HiPP organic children’s milk from 12 months also has a fine vanilla note.
HiPP Kindermilch Combiotik from 1 year onwards has a milky, neutral taste.
HiPP Kindermilch Combiotik from 1 year of age is a “product of its own kind”. Every ingredient in HiPP Kindermilch Combiotik has been carefully selected. It is formulated according to the recommendations for infant nutrition and specifically enriched with nutrients that are important for the healthy development of infants and which, according to professional associations, are not consumed enough through food. HiPP children’s milk, for example, provides plenty of vitamin D for strong bones. And it contains valuable lactic acid cultures and dietary fiber. With this children’s milk, the scientific concept of our Combiotik line is logically implemented and continued. Because of these nutritionally useful additives, however, it is unfortunately not currently possible to label HiPP children’s milk from the age of 1 as an organic product due to the current legal situation.
