Holle A2 Stage 1 – Organic Infant Formula

A2 Organic Infant Formula 1 includes a mixture of casein and selected whey protein. This formula is suitable for babies from birth onwards or when changing from breastfeeding. The A2 milk comes from specially selected cows that naturally produce only the A2 beta-casein protein type and not A1. These cows are kept respectfully on organic farms in a biodynamic environment.

Nowadays, regular cow’s milk contains two main types of -casein protein, A1 protein and A2 protein. This variation is crucial, since, unlike with A1 milk, β-casomorphin-7 is not produced during the digestion of A2 milk. BCM7 is the result of protein breakdown that is believed to have various non-beneficial effects.
Only A2 milk from organic agriculture is used for Holle A2 organic Infant Formulas which comes from specially selected cows that naturally produce only the A2 protein type and no A1. The A2 cows are specifically selected with a strict DNA test.
